COVID-19 Geçiren Bireylerde Fiziksel Aktivite Düzeyi ve Yaşanan Semptomlar Arasındaki İlişkinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı 20-65 arası COVID-19 enfeksiyonu geçiren bireylerde fiziksel aktivite düzeyi
ile yaşanan semptomlar, semptomların şiddeti, yorgunluk, uyku kalitesi, depresyon ve anksiyete düzeyleri
arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir.
Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya 20-65 yaş aralığında COVID-19 enfeksiyonunu evde tedavi alarak
geçirmiş 80 gönüllü birey katılmıştır ve bireylere google form üzerinden hazırlanan değerlendirme formu
e-posta aracılığıyla gönderilmiştir. Bireylerin fiziksel aktivite düzeyi Uluslararası Fiziksel Aktivite Anketinin
(International Physical Activity Questionnaire/ IPAQ) uzun formunun Türkçe versiyonu ile belirlenmiştir.
Katılımcılar IPAQ skorlaması sonucunda inaktif - az aktif bireyler Grup 1 (n=43, yaş ort:34,56±10) ve
yüksek aktif bireyler Grup 2 (n=37, yaş ort: 34,73±10) olarak ikiye ayrılmıştır. Semptomlar, YŞÖ, PUKİ,
BDÖ, BAÖ ile gruplar arasında karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır.
Bulgular: Grup 1 ve Grup 2 karşılaştırıldığında tat duyusu kaybı şiddetinde anlamlı fark tespit edilmiştir
(p<0,05). Grupların fiziksel aktivite düzeyleri ve COVID-19 semptom şiddeti arasındaki ilişkide koku
duyusu, mide bulantısı, dispne şiddetleri arasında negatif yönde ilişki bulunmuştur. Bel ağrısı şiddeti ile
pozitif yönde bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,05).
Sonuç: Fiziksel aktivite düzeyinin yüksek olmasının, COVID-19 enfeksiyonu semptomlarından bazılarının
daha az görülmesi ve hafif geçirilmesi yönünde etkili olabilir.
