STADYUMLARIN ÇOKLU KULLANIM AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Hızla artan nüfus, doğal kaynakların tükenmesi, iklim değişikliği ve çevresel bozulma gibi küresel sorunlar, günümüz dünyasında toplumsal, çevresel ve ekonomik sistemlerin uyum içinde işlenmesini sağlamak için kritik bir kavram haline gelen sürdürülebilir yaklaşımları bir zorunluluk haline getirmiştir. Bu bağlamda, mimari tasarımda çoklu kullanım yaklaşımları, Birleşmiş Milletlerin Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları çerçevesinde, sürdürülebilirlik hedefleriyle uyumlu bir çözüm olarak giderek daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Çoklu kullanım, hem kentsel alanların daha verimli kullanılmasını sağlamakta hem de ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel açıdan sürdürülebilir çözümler sunmaktadır. Bu amaçla, mimari tasarımda esneklik, dönüştürülebilirlik ve kullanıcı odaklılık temel prensipler haline gelmektedir.
Günümüzde stadyumlar, yalnızca tek bir spor dalının karşılaşmalarına ev sahipliği yapan yapılar olmaktan çıkarak birçok farklı amaç ve etkinlik kapsamında kullanılmaktadırlar. Bu değişim, mimari tasarımda esneklik, işlevsellik ve teknoloji entegrasyonunu ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Çoklu kullanım, stadyumların ekonomik sürdürülebilirliğini artırırken, tasarım süreçlerini daha karmaşık hale getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada, stadyum yapılarındaki çoklu kullanımın tasarıma etkileri, tarihsel arka plandan başlayarak günümüz örnek yapıları üzerinden incelenmektedir.
Çalışmada, stadyumun sürdürülebilrlik öğeleri ve kentle kurduğu bağ gibi belirli kıstaslar göz önünde bulundurularak yapılan stadyum karşılaştırma listesinin üst sıralarında bulunan 6 stadyumun incelenmesi yapılmaktadır.
Çalışmanın amacı; sadece binaların işlevselliğini artırmakla kalmayıp aynı zamanda çevresel sürdürülebilirlik, ekonomik verimlilik ve toplumsal fayda açısından da mimarlığa yeni bir perspektif kazandıran çoklu kullanım odaklı tasarım kriterlerinin stadyum gibi büyük ölçekli yapılarda uygulanması konusunda farkındalık yaratmak ve literatüre katkı sağlamaktır. Gelecekte, bu yaklaşımın mimarlık ve şehir planlama üzerindeki etkilerinin daha da belirginleşmesi beklenmektedir.

EVALUATION OF STADIUMS IN TERMS OF MULTIPLE USE

Abstract

Rapidly growing populations, depletion of natural resources, climate change, and environmental degradation have made sustainable approaches a necessity in today's world, as they are critical to ensuring that social, environmental, and economic systems function in harmony.
In this context, multi-use approaches in architectural design are gaining increasing importance as a solution compatible with sustainability goals within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Multi-use ensures more efficient use of urban areas and offers economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable solutions.
To this end, flexibility, convertibility, and user-centeredness have become fundamental principles in architectural design.
Today, stadiums are no longer structures that host only one sport's competitions but are used for many different purposes and events. This change brings flexibility, functionality, and technology integration to the forefront in architectural design. Multi-use increases the economic sustainability of stadiums while making the design processes more complex.
The study examines six stadiums ranked at the top of a stadium comparison list, which was compiled based on specific criteria such as the stadium's sustainability elements and its connection to the city.
