Attitude Of Pre-Service Teachers At Physical Training And Sports Teaching Department Towards Information And Communication Technologies: Case Of Batman University

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine attitude of pre-service teachers at physical training and sports teaching department towards information and communication technologies. Study group of the research is composed of 56 students who study at Batman University School of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Physical Education Teaching in 2014-2015 academic year spring semester. Data were collected with attitude scale for information and communication Technologies. Data obtained were analyzed with IBM SPSS 22.0 package program and in the analysis of data t-test was used for independent samples apart from descriptive statistics tests. The results of research show that all pre-service teachers have attitude at medium level towards ICT. Among the attitude of pre-service teachers towards ICT according to gender; there was a significant difference on behalf of male pre-service teachers in the statement that when there is a hardware problem I would tamper the computer in order to understand the reason, and there was no such difference in other statements

Beden Eğitimi Ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü Öğretmen Adaylarının Bilgi Ve İletişim Teknolojilerine Yönelik Tutumları: Batman Üniversitesi Örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği bölümünde okuyan öğretmen adaylarının bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Batman Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliği bölümünde okuyan 56 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik tutum ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler IBM SPSS 22.0 paket programı ile çözümlenmiş, verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistik testlerinin yanı sıra bağımsız örneklemler için t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu, tüm öğretmen adaylarının BİT’e yönelik tutumlarının orta seviyede olduğunu göstermektedir. Öğretmen adaylarının cinsiyet değişkenine göre BİT’e yönelik tutumları arasında sadece; bilgisayarın donanımsal bir arızası olduğunda bunun nedenini anlamak için bilgisayarı kurcalarım ifadesinde erkek öğretmen adayları lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuş, diğer ifadelerde ise anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır
