Türkiye'de Yetişen Yağlı Tohumlardan Biodizel Üretim Potansiyelinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Çevre bilincinin artması ve petrol kökenli yakıtların
rezervlerindeki azalma nedeni ile yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarına yönelik
çalışmalar bütün dünyada hız kazanmıştır. Bu durum, alternatif bir enerji
kaynağı olarak biyoyakıtlara olan ilginin artmasına yol açmıştır. Biyodizel,
biyobenzin ve biyokütle gibi biyoyakıtlar yenilenebilir, geri dönüşümlü ve
çevreyi kirletmeyen enerji kaynaklarıdır. Çevre dostu olması ve benzeri
özellikleri ile “Biyodizel”, tüm yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları içinde
öncelikli öneme sahiptir.




















Türkiye'de biyodizel üretimi, tarımsal faaliyetleri
ve enerjiyi çeşitlendirmek, fosil yakıtlara bağımlılığı azaltmak ve ekonomik
büyümeye katkıda bulunmak için bir fırsat sağlayabilir. Biyodizel, Türkiye'de
mevcut tesislerle uygulanabilen en önemli alternatif yakıt seçeneklerinden
biridir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de bitkisel atıklardan biyodizel potansiyeli
araştırılmıştır.
