Abstract

Bu çalışmada endemik bir tür olan Bellevalia clusiana Griseb.’nın sitotaksonomik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bitkinin kök ucu hücrelerinde yapılan sitolojik incelemelerde 2n=16 kromozomlu ve tetraploid olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bölünür hücrelerin kromozomlarında yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda karyotip ve idiyogramı hazırlanmıştır. Kromozom boyları 4,827-9,975 μm arasında bulunmuştur. Sentromer pozisyonlarına göre ise kromozomlardan sekizinin submetasentrik (submedyan), dördünün metasentrik (medyan), ve dördünün de subtelosentrik (subterminal) olduğu görülmüştür.
