                                        Abstract
The wettability of liquid Mg and AZ91 alloy on bulk Ti6Al4V alloy was investigated in the current study. Wetting experiments were conducted by gradually heating the samples to 800°C for 30 minutes. A CCD camera was used to capture the morphological changes in the droplet during contact angle measurements. Additionally, a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with energy-dispersive X ray spectroscopy (EDS) was used to analyze the morphology and microstructure of the wetted surfaces of the Ti6Al4V alloy. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) was performed so as to examine the phase constituents in the reaction layer of the Ti-alloy substrate and magnesium and AZ91 alloy.
