The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between leisure negotiation strategies and aggressive behaviour levels of university students and their differentiation status in terms of some demographic variables. The research was carried out according to the relational screening model. The sample group consists of 299 university students selected by convenient sampling method. Personal information form prepared by the researchers, “Leisure Negotiation Strategies Scale (LNSS)”, “Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BAQ)” were used as data collection tools in the study. In the analysis of the data T-Test and Pearson Correlation analyses were used by using the SPSS 26.0 package program. While there was no significant difference between LNSS for the gender variable of the students; physical aggression behaviours of male participants were found to be significantly higher. According to the sport type variable of the participants, a significant difference was found in favour of those who do individual sports in the LNSS “interpersonal relations” sub-dimension. There was no significant relationship between the age variable of the participants and the leisure negotiation strategies scale. In addition, a positive and low level correlation was found between the age variable of the students and the Buss-Perry aggression scale and the "physical aggression" sub-dimension. A negative and moderate correlation was found between the leisure negotiation strategies scale and Buss-Perry aggression questionnaire of university students. As a result, it can be said that the increase in the aggression tendency of university students negatively affects the negotiation strategies with the barriers of leisure activities. Implementation of programs aimed at reducing the aggressive behavior of university students will contribute to their participation in leisure activities.
