In this paper, manifolds with negative curvature is discussed, and it is proved, for these manifolds, that the intersection of two compact totally geodesic submanifolds V and W of M does not necessarily occure. Thİs result, is also, established for Kâhler manifolds. Finally, the existence of a fixed point is discussed
