Heat transfer from a nuclear reactor solid fuel tube with a constant internal energy generation to a coolant in slug flow is studied analytically and the temperature fields in the fuel tube and coolant are determined in the forms of a series Solutions. The physical properties, heat transfer coefficient and thermal contact condudtance are assumed to be constant
