Spatial processes: modelling, estimation, and hypothesis testing

Abstract

This paper develops purely spatial ARMA models. Suitable models, based on the correlational structure of observed spatial processes, are fitted. The parameters are esti- mated by minimum variance prediction error, least sguares, or maxtmum likelihood esti- mation methods. The technigues of hypothesis testing are inciuded.
