Peer Review Policy

All articles submitted to Communications Faculty of Sciences University of Ankara Series A1 Mathematics and Statistics (Commun. Fac. Sci. Univ. Ank. Ser. A1. Math. Stat.) undergo a single-blind peer review process. In this system, reviewers remain anonymous to the authors, while the authors’ identities are visible to the reviewers.

Peer review is defined as obtaining independent expert advice on submitted manuscripts from reviewers who are not part of the journal’s editorial staff. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter.


Initial Editorial Screening

After submission, each manuscript is first screened by the editorial office to assess its compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and basic quality standards. This initial screening typically takes up to 10 days.

Peer Review Process

Once the invitation is accepted, reviewers are given up to 90 days to complete their evaluation of the manuscript.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial team makes a decision within approximately 10 days.

Final Processing

If the manuscript is accepted for publication, then copy-editing, proofreading, and layout processes are completed within 10–15 days to ensure timely publication.
