THE CONTRIBUTION OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION APPLICATIONS IN JAIL ON EX-SENTENCED EMPLOYMENT

Abstract

Today, socio-economic problems, connected with employment and unemployment, are threatening both developed and developing countries including Turkey. Different groups of people are facing unemployment problems. One of these groups is ex-prisoners who are excluded from social and economic life by society and employers. These problems result in unemployment, social and economic exclusions by society. It is important to protect ex-sentenced people after their release. In this context, vocational education applications in jails are very important as an element of social inclusion and economic contribution. When they are released with their vocational education, these groups face less risks. With vocational education recidivism will decrease in time in society. In the paper, vocational educations, have taken by prisoners, are investigated in terms of their approaches and expectations.

CEZA İNFAZ KURUMUNDAKİ MESLEKİ EĞİTİM FAALİYETLERİNİN HÜKÜMLÜ İSTİHDAMINA KATKILARI

Abstract

Günümüzde işsizlik ve işsizlikle bağlantılı sosyoekonomik sorunlar hem gelişmiş Ülkeleri hem de ülkemizin de içinde bulunduğu gelişmekte olan ülkeleri tehdit etmektedir. Toplumun farklı kesimleri işsizlik sorunu ile karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. Bu kesimlerden biri olan eski hükümlülerin sosyal hayattan soyutlanarak toplumun dışına itilmeleri de bu sorunlardan biridir. Çoğu işsiz ve eğitimsiz olan hükümlülerin tahliye sonrası iş hayatında yer bulmaları ve sosyal güvenlik risklerinden korunmaları önemlidir. Bu anlamda ceza infaz kurumlarında verilen ve etkin bir sosyal içerme ve ekonomik katkı unsuru olan, hükümlülük esnasındaki mesleki eğitim faaliyetlerinin hükümlülerin tahliye sonrası iş bulup hayata tutunmaları ve işsizlik riskiyle karşı karşıya kalıp tekrar suça yönelmemeleri açısından oldukça önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Bursa ilindeki bir cezaevinde hükümlülerin almış olduğu eğitim faaliyetleri ve hükümlülerin bu faaliyetlere bakışları ve beklentileri ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır.
