Working Women in House Services or The Houses’ Women

Abstract

Home Services are the working type which is being decomposed from the other working types due to its content and results and also mostly evaluated to tie up with women. The scope of the special extent’s activity based on the sense of to render another woman liable of the woman who is breaking free from this working with different reasons. In this study, access of women outgoing home services, working conditions and the type of relationship with house owner women in the working environment have been introduced. In-depth interview and focus group interview are both to form the study’s method. The study has been realized with 50 women who are outgoing to house services in Sakarya. It has been introduced that the women went out to home services due to their difficulties (income pressure) and the access has been provided by social networks (relative, neighbor, and mates).  The job content and in terms of woman oriented attitude are not the point of general definition, specific conditions and expectations from the woman come up in every houses. Outgoing to home services has also put pressure on the women in terms of partake of foreign one, also contribute to get stronger and learn of them.

Ev Hizmetlerinde Çalışan Kadınlar ya da Evlerin Kadınları

Abstract

Ev hizmetleri, içeriği ve sonuçları itibariyle diğer iş biçimlerinden ayrışan çoğunlukla kadınla bağlantılı değerlendirilen bir çalışma biçimidir. Özel alana ait faaliyetleri kapsamı, farklı gerekçelerle bu işlerden bağımsızlaşan kadının bir başka kadını sorumlu kılması anlayışına dayanmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, ev hizmetine giden kadının işe ulaşımı, çalışma koşulları ve çalışma ortamı içerisindeki evin sahibi kadınla olan ilişki biçimi ortaya konulmuştur. Derinlemesine mülakat ve odak grup görüşmesi araştırmanın yöntemini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma Sakarya’da ev hizmetlerine giden 50 kadınla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kadınların zorunluluktan dolayı (gelir baskısı) ev hizmetlerine gittiği, işe ulaşımının ise sosyal ağlar (akraba, komşu, arkadaş) vasıtasıyla sağlandığı ortaya konulmuştur. Yapılan işin içeriği ve kadına yönelik tutumlar açısından genel geçer bir tanım söz konusu olmamakta, her evde özgül koşullar ve kadından beklentiler gündeme gelmektedir.  Ev hizmetine gitmek yabancı birinin özel alanına dâhil olma açısından sıkıntı oluştursa da, kadının güçlenmesi ve öğrenmesine de katkı sağlamaktadır.
