Uzaktan ve Yarı Zamanlı Çalışma Işığında Örgütsel Vatandaşlık Davranışı: Kuramsal Bir İnceleme

Öz

Örgütlerde, esnek çalışma biçimleriyle istihdam edilenlerin sayısının günümüzde giderek artmasıyla birlikte, bu çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışları sergileyip sergilemeyecekleri ya da bu davranışları hangi şekillerde gösterebilecekleri konusu giderek daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Fakat literatüre bakıldığında, bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyen özellikle kuramsal çalışmaların sayısının oldukça eksik olduğu görülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, bu çalışmanın amacı da literatürde üzerinde en fazla çalışma yapılan esnek çalışma biçimleri olan uzaktan çalışma ve yarı zamanlı çalışmanın örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı ile nasıl etkileşim içerisinde olduğunu kuramsal bakış açısıyla incelemektir. Literatürdeki sınırlı sayıdaki araştırmalar incelendiğinde ise yarı zamanlı ve uzaktan çalışanların, geleneksel çalışma biçimiyle istihdam edilenlere kıyasla, örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışları açısından farklılık gösterebilecekleri sonucuna ulaşılmaktadır. Bu farklılığın muhtemel nedenleri ise uzaktan çalışanların diğer çalışanlarla yüz yüze görüşememeleri ve yarı zamanlı çalışanların da düşük ücret geliri ve sınırlı sosyal haklar nedeniyle örgüte daha az bağlılık duymalarıdır.
