Abstract
The book is a comprehensive overview of China's rise on the global stage and its rivalry with the United States. The book examines China's role in world politics, its economic growth, technological developments and foreign policy strategies.Edited by Rafet Akgünay and Mehmet Fatih Ceylan, the book consists of chapters, each written by expert authors. Each chapter examines the economic, technological, political and military dimensions of the rivalry between these two powers.
In general, the book emphasizes the following points: US sanctions on Chinese technology companies, China's technological independence goals and cyber security issues between the two countries. It also discusses China's initiatives such as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the New Development Bank (NDB), its financing policies under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and the economic and political impact of these loans on recipient countries.

Kitap, Çin’in küresel sahnedeki yükselişini ve bu süreçte ABD ile yaşadığı rekabeti derinlemesine inceleyen kapsamlı bir derleme kitabıdır. Kitap, Çin’in dünya siyasetindeki rolünü, ekonomik büyümesini, teknolojik gelişmelerini ve dış politika stratejilerini inceler .Editörleri Rafet Akgünay ve Mehmet Fatih Ceylan olan kitap, her biri uzman yazarlar tarafından kaleme alınmış bölümlerden oluşmaktadır. Her bir bölüm bu iki güç arasındaki rekabetin ekonomik, teknolojik, siyasi ve askeri boyutlarını incelemektedir.
Genel olarak kitap şu noktalara vurgu yapmaktadır; ABD’nin Çinli teknoloji şirketlerine uyguladığı yaptırımları, Çin’in teknolojik bağımsızlık hedefleri ve iki ülke arasındaki siber güvenlik meseleleri öne çıkıyor.
