Abstract
Filistin-İsrail sorunu, Yahudilerin İsrail Devleti’ni kurma çabaları ile başlayan, uzun yıllardır dünya gündeminin merkezinde yer alan ve derin tarihsel kökleri olan bir sorundur. Bu sorun, sadece bölgesel bir çatışma olmanın ötesinde, uluslararası ilişkilerin ve küresel barışın önemli bir bileşeni haline gelmiştir. Fatma Kevser Kaplan’ın kaleme aldığı “Değişen Dünya ve Filistin-İsrail Sorunu” adlı kitap, bu karmaşık sorunu ele alarak İsrail’in kuruluşundan önceki süreçten başlayarak günümüze kadar Filistin-İsrail sorununu kronolojik şekilde analiz etmektedir.
Sonuç olarak, kitap Filistin topraklarının Yahudiler ve Filistinliler eksenli tarihi, dini ve siyasi arka planı incelemektedir. Yahudilerin Filistin topraklarını talep etmeleri Filistinlilerin ise sahip oldukları toprakları vermemek için ettikleri mücadeleyi anlatmaktadır. Yazar ise eserinde Filistin-İsrail sorununun çözüme ulaşamadığını eleştirmiş; İsrail’in işgalleri ve zulümlerine karşı mümkün olan yaptırımların uygulanması gerektiğini savunmuştur.
Abstract
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a problem with deep historical roots that has been at the center of the world agenda for many years, starting with the efforts of the Jews to establish the State of Israel. It is not just a regional conflict, but has become an important component of international relations and global peace. The book “The Changing World and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict” by Fatma Kevser Kaplan deals with this complex problem and analyzes the Palestinian-Israeli conflict chronologically, starting from the period before the establishment of Israel to the present day.
As a result, the book examines the historical, religious and political background of the Palestinian territories in terms of Jews and Palestinians. It describes the struggle of the Jews to claim the land of Palestine and the Palestinians to keep their land. The author criticizes the lack of a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and argues that possible sanctions should be imposed against Israel's occupations and atrocities.
