Hitit Öncesi Anadolusu'nun Etnik Yapısı

Year 2003, Issue: 2, 51 - 68, 01.09.2003

Abstract

M.Ö. 2. binyılın ikinci yarısında Orta Anadolu’da kurdukları siyasal birliği bir imparatorluğa dönüştüren Hititlerin, Anadolu’ya M.Ö. 2. binyılın başlarında kuzeydoğu Anadolu üzerinden geldikleri, bilim dünyasında genellikle kabul görmüş bir teoridir. Gerçekten böyle miydi?

Bugün sizlerle bu konuyu paylaşmak istiyor ve son zamanlarda ortaya çıkmış bazı verileri değerlendirerek, M.Ö. 2. binyıl öncesi Anadolu’nun etnik yapısı ile Hititlerin — dolayısıyla Hint-Avrupalıların — Anadolu topraklarına ne zaman gelmiş olabilecekleri ya da Hititlerin/Hint-Avrupalıların ana yurtlarının neresi olabileceği üzerinde durmak istiyorum.
