Abstract

The book based on L. Vagalinski’s PhD thesis at Sofia University, has a main text in Bulgarian and a summary in English. The author aims to compile and discuss an array of finds relating to sports and gladiatorial games in Hellenistic and Roman Thrace. It should be mentioned that the focus is on material from the Bulgarian part of Thrace.
