A Bibliometric Study On Valorisation of Rice Agricultural Waste

Abstract

Rice, one of the most produced plants in the world, has been the subject of many studies with the biomass potential of post-harvest residues. The agricultural residues of the rice plant are defined by two main materials: rice straw, which is formed by chopping the stem part, and rice husk, which covers the rice grain. In this study, studies on the use of rice straw and rice husk as biomass energy sources were examined by bibliometric analysis method. Bibliometric analysis of the data obtained on 29.05.2024 from the Web of Science database used as the data source was made using the Vosviewer program. In addition to co-author analysis, source citation analysis, country citation analysis, keyword analysis, the change in the number of publications over the years and the authors who published the most are listed. It is aimed to shed light on the studies to be carried out on biomass energy, which is a popular topic today, by creating a bibliometric profile on a widely cultivated plant.
