Metabolik sendrom patogenezinde rol oynayan bazı hormonlar

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 16 - 22, 30.06.2022

Abstract

Some hormones playing a role in the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 16 - 22, 30.06.2022

Abstract

Today, metabolic syndrome, which is a pandemic in terms of incidence, accompanied by excessive weight gain and insulin resistance, which occurs as a result of a sedentary life and a fast-food diet, is a fatal disorder. Although inadequate physical activity and wrong eating habits play an important role in the formation of metabolic syndrome, it is known that genetic factors and hormonal factors that develop accordingly are effective in the formation of the disease. In this review, it is aimed to make a brief review about the metabolic syndrome and the main hormones that contribute to the formation of metabolic syndrome.
