BIR GRUP ÇEVRE SAĞLIĞI ÖĞRENCISININ ÇÖZÜM ODAKLI YAKLAŞIM DÜZEYLERI ILE ÇEVRE SORUNLARINA YÖNELIK DAVRANIŞLARI ARASINDAKI İLIŞKILI VE ETKILEYEN FAKTÖRLER

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, çevre sağlığı alanında farklı seviyelerde eğitim alan öğrencilerin
çevre sorunlarına yönelik davranışlarını ve sorun çözme yaklaşımları ile ilişkili faktörleri
belirlemektir. Çalışma analitik/kesitsel bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmış olup, çalışma
evrenini 2020-2021 akademik yılında Türkiye genelinde Çevre Sağlığı Anabilim
Dalında ön lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora programlarına kayıtlı 619 öğrenci
oluşturmuştur. Araştırma, katılmaya gönüllü olan 144 (3 katılımcı dâhil edilmemiştir)
öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Çevre Sorunları Davranış
Ölçeği” ve “Çözüm Odaklılık Envanteri” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. İstatistiksel
analiz ve değerlendirmeler bu verilere ait ortalamalar üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Sonuçlar, Çevre Sorunlarına Yönelik Davranışları ve Çözüm Odaklı Yaklaşım
durumlarının cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, annenin hayatta olması, ailenin ilk çocuğu
olma ve çevresel bir örgüte üye olma değişkenlerine bağlı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı
şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Ayrıca bu sonuçlar, çevresel sorunlara yönelik davranışları
ile problem çözme yaklaşım düzeyleri arasında pozitif bir korelasyon olduğunu
göstermiştir (p < 0.05, r = 0.39). Bu bulgular, öğrencilerin problem çözme becerileri
geliştikçe, çevre sorunlarına yönelik tutumlarının da geliştiği şeklinde yorumlanabilir.
