The Effects of Sabbateans on European Judaism

Abstract

Sabbatean mavement that emerged in XVII century in the Ottoman Empire has effects mostly on the European Judaism which is outside af Ottoman lands. Jewish beliefs such as the idea of Messianic, eschatological phenomena, return to Zion, and ete. have developed u nder the influence af Sabbatean movement .. A canverso Jewish life style which is known as Frankism in East Europe also formed directly u nder the influence of Sabbatean movement.
