Baberti's wievs on "the Belief" and 11Pover of Man to Act" in His Expounding on The Wasiyya and The Creed of Tahavi

Abstract

Ekmaluddin Baberti who was one of the representatives of the Hanafı sect in Egypt had expounded both of the Wasiyye attributed to AbCı Hanife and the creed of Tahavi the perfect article of Hanefi schoole. But there are two importent differences between these articles about "the believe" and the "power to act" for man. We try to get out how Baberti reconciles these contarvery views as a Hanafı scholar. But it will be seen that the problem has been unsolwed as it was up taday. Because Baberti had explained these problems in accordance with the feature of tehese articles. It is a matter of fact that the views of Tahavi on these problems are more undersatndable from the other one in respect of the explanations of Baberti. Because Tahavi had deduced his creed, in general, from the Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet (peace be up on Him).
