Abstract
The human being can fall into fallacy in reasoning. If the man knows how he makes
mistake, he can obviate this fai!acy. Therefore, in the classical logic, logical fallacies and
their reasons are investigated. Ebu Ali Ibn Sina alsa scrutinized the logical fallacies and
their reasons. Traditionally, the logician divides the logical fallacies to three parts: The
fallacy regarding the matter, regarding the form and regarding both of them. Ibn Sina
mostly investigates the·fallacies regarding the matter. He examined these typical fallacies
under two titles: regarding the dietion and regarding the meaning. As Aristotle, Ibn Sina
alsa expresses thirteen fallacies in all: Six fi:ı!lacies related the diction, seven fallacies which
are not dependent on dietion. According to !br. Sina, ·the basic reason of the logical fallacies
is resemblances in both the dietion and the meanings
