ANALYSISOFTHENARRATIONSABOUTPOINTINGATWITIIFINGERINTIIE SALUTATIONS OF TilE PRAYER AND JURISPRUDENTIAİ. APPRACHES

Abstract

Muslims have learned the matters related to the prayer which has the most im portance among the worships in Islam from the Prophet {pbuh) himself. There are a lot of narratives in the sources of hadith about po inting iıt with the index finger of the right hand in the two salutations during prayer. It is very im portant to examine the correctness of these.narratives to sh~w that they can be put into practice. While most of the Muslim scholars and jurlsprudents depending on those narratives accepted that pointing at with the index finger during the salutations is sunnah or muStahab, some others who have authority to give fatwa claimed that it is makruh or haram {forbiğden). Today while some of Muslims adopt the opinion of the majority of the Muslim scholars, the others have adopted the opinion of the second group who have claimed that this application is makruh {detested) or haram {forbidden). Eventhere have been some persons who went to extremes and broke the fuigers of those·people pointing at with finger during the salutations.

TAHİYYATTA PARMAKLA iŞARET ETME İLE İLGİLİ RİVAYETLERİN TAHLİLİ VE FIKHİ YAKLAŞıMLAR

Abstract

Müslümanlar, İslam' da emredilen ibadetler arasında en fazla önemi haiz olan namazla ilgili hususlan Hz. Peygamber'den öğrenmişlerdir. Namazın bir bölümü olan tahiyyatta sağ elin şahadet parmağıyla işaret etme konusunda hadis kaynaklannda birçok rivayet mevcuttur. Bu rivayetlerin sıhhat durumlarını incelemek onlarla amel edilebilirliğini ortaya koymak bakunından önemlidir. Alimierin büyük çoğunlu­ ğu rivayetleri esas almak suretiyle tahiyyatta işaret etmenin sünnet veya müstehap olduğunu kabul ederken fetva verıneye yetkili bazı liliınler ise bunun rnekruh veya haram olduğunu savunmuşlardır. Bugün Müslümanların bir kısmı cumhur ulemanm görüşünü benimserken bir kısmı da rnekruh veya haram diyen bazı liliınlerin fikrini tercih etmişlerdir. Bu konuda aşınlığa kaçarak tahiyyatta şahadet parmağıyla işaret edenlerin parmaklarını kıranlar bile olmuştur.
