Kur'an Bütünlüğü İçinde Mal ve İnsan ilişkisi
Abstract
The Qur'an does not advise any negativ~ attitude to w ards property. It
does not state anything negative about possession of property.
Generally speaking, . it considers having property as scimething
praiseworthy. This is because it regards property to be a means for
the attainment of.peace and happiness in this world as well as in the
hereafter. One can lead a normal and healthy life only if this person
has property, i.e., a. means of livelihood. Since the life in the
hereafter is built on the quality of one's life in this ·world, it also
requires that one has property. The .Qur'an considers property as the
means to earn both spheres of liv~s. It assigns the goodness or the
evi! not to property or wealth per se, but rather .to ·the relation of
people to their p_roperty.
