Abstract

There are various values, norms and Institutions which cause the emergence and keep the the continuation of individuals and societies. Religion and moral values are counted among such values which are functional in the society. In this study the effect of social norms on individual. and society has been discussed and similar and dissimilar aspects of religious and moral values have comparatively been examined. Finally, Islamic moral values as a system have been analysed in terms of its function for constituting social norms and the transformatian of ethlcal values to next generations has been briefly studied.

Öz

Birey ve toplum hayatının oluşumunu/devamını sağlayan çeşitli değerler, nor.mlar ve kurumlar bulunmaktadır. Ahlak ve din de bu çerçevede toplumsal Işlev gören unsurlar arasında yer almaktadır. Bu . çalışmada, toplumsal norm un birey ve toplum üzerindeki etkisi, ahlak ve dinin norm oluşturma bakımından benzer ve farklı yönleri tartışılmıştır. Son olarak, İslam ahlak sistemi norm oluşturma açısından .ele alınmış ve ahiakın sonraki nesillere aktarılması ·konusun,a kısaca değinilmiştir.
