Abstract
Her dinde sembolik bir hüviyet kazanan insanlar vardır. Bu kişiler
kendi alanlarında gösterdikleri başarılar veya öne çıkan meziyetleri
nedeniyle örnek olarak ilk zikredilen kimselerdir. İslam ahlakı
bağlamında anneye iyilik dendiğinde de akla ilk gelen isim Uveys elKarenî’dir.
Uveys’in gerek yaşayıp yaşamadığı ve gerekse onunla ilgili
anlatılanlar rivayetlerde son derece karmaşık ve çelişik bilgiler
içermektedir. Biz bu makalemizde Muslim’in Sahîh’inde onun
faziletlerinden bahseden üç rivayeti gerçeklik bağlamında tahlil ettik.
Böylece Uveys konulu çalışmalara bir katkı sağlamış olduk.

Die Analyse der Überlieferungen Bezüglich des Zusammentreffens von Khalifen Omar und Uwais al-Qarani
Abstract
In each Religion there are people who achieve symbolic identities.
These are those who mentioned as Samples with their
accomplishments in their own domains or their outstanding
pecularities. In connection with islamic ethics, when we speak of
respect to Mother, Uwais al Qarani is one of the most prominent
character whom we rememeber. However, the Informations about if
Uwais really had lived or not and the told stories about him are both
ambigious and complexfied. The aim of this article is to analysis the
authenticity of three accounts which alludes of his virtues in Muslim’s
Sahih and consequently a contribituon to the studies on Uwais. My
