Abstract

insanlık tarihi kadar eski olan mizah, hemen hemen her toplum edebiyatında
yer almıştır. Bu topluııılcırclaıı birisi ele dünya edebiyatında dikkate eleğer yeri olan
Arap topluıııudur. Mizacı itibariyle nüktedan olan Arap toplumu, cahiliye döneminin
zor hayat şartları içerisinde bu mizaçiarını gösterememişlerdir. Zira onların miza_hla
ilgili bir çok kelime ve terimi kullanması bunun bir delilidir. Ancak bu toplum fırsatını
bulduğu ilk anda nliktedanlıklarını göstermişlerdir. islam'ın zorluk dönemlerinden
sonra bu yeterieklerini ortaya koydukları anlaşılmaktadır. Burada Hz. Peygamber'in
konumu ç61< önemlidir. Zira O, hem çocuk, genç ve yaşlı her yaştan insana yaptığı
şakalarla, hem de kendisine yapılan şakalara gösterdiği hoşgörü ile Islam mizalı
edebiyatının gelişmesinde önemli bir rol oyn9mıştır. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada, Hz.
Peygamber ve sahabenin nıizahı ile ilgili örnekler ve bunların değerlendirilmesine yer
verilmiştir.

Abstract

Humor that is as old as the history of humanity takes place nearly in the
literature of every hunıanity. One of these societies is the Arab community, which has
an important place in literature. The Arab conımunity, which instinctly likes hunıor,
couldn't show this instinct in the diffıcult conditions of the Cahiliya period. The fact that
a lot of words and terms related to humor were used by !hem is a proof of this talent.
But minute this community has found an opportunity, they have displayed their talent
to make a joke. lt is understood that they put forward this talent after the hard period
of the lslamic history. Here, the situation of the Prophet is very important. Because he
played a signifıcant role iıı cleveloping the lslamic literatura of humor making jokes
about people from every age, young or old, •çın d tolerating jokes mcıde. about him by
others. Therefore, in this study the example of the jokes made by the Prophet and his
companios (sahaba) are given place
