Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojilerinin Ekonomik Büyüme Üzerine Etkisi: G-20 Ülkeleri İçin Bir Analiz

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaçla,
2000-2014 dönemi için G-20 ülkeleri üzerinde Panel EGLS analizi uygulanmıştır. Gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülke
grupları için, gelişmiş 7 ülke ve gelişmekte olan 13 ülke için analiz yapılmış ve sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, G-20
ülkelerinin tamamının yer aldığı analiz sonuçlarına da yer verilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, gelişmiş ülkelerde
BİT’in ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif etkiye sahip olduğu, gelişmekte olan ülkeler ve G-20 ülkelerinin tamamını
kapsayan analizde ise negatif etkiye sahip olduğu bulgularına ulaşılmıştır.
