Abstract

In today’s with increase in the number of global and multinational corporation have began to decrease the competitive capacity of corporations. The corporations in order to protect assets have become more sensitive to environment and work in order to increase the values of society with this process. From this emerged the concept of corporate social responsibility is express to that all stakeholders of the business to conducting during business activities. The concept of social responsibility, which is one of the basic concepts of accounting repuires observance not a single interest group of interests all of society in the accounting process. İn this context, accounting is an important tool when firms to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities. The purpose of this study to determine the perspectives of accounting social responsibility and corporate social responsibility who Suleyman Demirel University students which studying accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels of accounting For this purpose, the field research on the students has been done.

Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk Kapsamında Muhasebenin Sosyal Sorumluluğu: Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi’nde Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Küreselleşme ve çokuluslu işletmelerin artışı ile işletmelerin rekabet güçleri azalmaya başlamıştır. Bu süreçle birlikte işletmeler, yoğun rekabet ortamında varlıklarını koruyabilmek için çevreye ve topluma daha duyarlı hale gelmişlerdir. Bu noktadan hareketle ortaya çıkan “kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk” kavramı, işletmenin faaliyetleri sırasında tüm paydaşlarına karşı sorumlu olduğunu ifade etmektedir. Muhasebenin temel kavramlarından olan sosyal sorumluluk kavramı da muhasebe sürecinde tek bir çıkar grubunun değil de tüm toplumun çıkarlarının gözetilmesini gerektirmektedir. Bu kapsamda işletmelerin kurumsal sosyal sorumluluklarını yerine getirmelerinde muhasebe önemli bir araçtır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi’nde önlisans ve lisans düzeylerinde muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrencilerin muhasebenin sosyal sorumluluğuna ve kurumsal sosyal sorumluluğa bakış açılarının belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla, ilgili öğrenciler üzerinde saha araştırması yapılmıştır.
