The performance of excavation, loading and transport equipment used in the mining sector directly affects the operating performance and therefore the profitability. The main reasons for the low machine performance are; time and production losses arising from machine and non-machine causes during the production phase. Improving the performance of such equipment is possible through the determination of suitable performance indicators for these machines and the continuous measurement and supervision of these indicators. In the scope of the present work; the efficiency, productivity and effectiveness values of the belt conveyors in the Ömerler underground mine of Western Lignite Corporation (WLC), which are considered as determinants of 5 months (January - May) performance, were determined and the machine performances were identified according to these three values. Therefore, the belt conveyor no. 1 is the most efficient with the value of 40.64% and the belt conveyor no. 4 is determined as a transportation unit with the highest efficiency having a value of 109.21 tons/hour. According to the effectiveness values, January is the most effective working period with 35.46%.
