Abstract

In this report we aimed to present a 22-year-old female that underwent emergency surgery after an unsuccessful percutaneous closure of cribriform atrial septal defect.Percutaneous closure is a safe alternative for appropriately selected cases with atrial septal defect. Although percutaneous closure is widely used in treatment of atrial septal defects, one should keep in mind that surgical correction might be a more convenient option in certain cases

Perkütan Cribriform Tip Atriyal Septal Defekt Kapatma İşlemi Sonrası Acil Cerrahi: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Bu yazıda, başarısız perkütan cribriform tip atriyal septal defekt kapatma işlemi nedeniyle acil şartlarda operasyona alınan 22 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunulmuştur. Uygun seçilmiş atriyal septal defektli hastalarda, perkütan kapatma işlemi cerrahi tedaviye alternatif olarak güvenle kullanılmaktadır. Her ne kadar atriyal septal defektli hastaların tedavisinde perkütan kapatma işlemi yaygın olarak kullanılsa da bazı hastalarda cerrahi tedavi seçeneğinin daha uygun olabileceği unutulmamalıdır.
