GÜÇLENDİRİCİ LİDERLİĞİN YENİLİKÇİ İŞ DAVRANIŞINA ETKİSİNDE BİLGİ PAYLAŞIMININ ARACILIK ROLÜ: BİLİŞİM SEKTÖRÜNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Güçlendirici liderlik, örgütün verimliliği kapsamında ele alınan ve yöneticinin olumlu yönlerine ilişkin davranış durumlarıdır. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, olumlu liderlik davranışı olan güçlendirici liderliğin yenilikçi iş davranışına etkisinde “bilgi paylaşımı” nın aracı bir işlev görüp görmediğini belirlemektir. Araştırmada “güçlendirici liderliğin yenilikçi iş davranışına etkisinde bilgi paylaşımı aracı bir değişken olarak rol oynamakta mıdır?” sorusu cevaplandırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemine göre tasarlanarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri basit tesadüfi örnekleme tekniğine göre Ankara’daki bir bilişim işletmesinden (n=412) toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılarak fark ve ilişki testleri ile betimsel analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde elde edilen bulgulara göre güçlendirici liderlik davranışı, bilgi paylaşımı ve yenilikçi iş davranışları arasında pozitif yönlü etkiler bulunmuştur ve güçlendirici liderliğin yenilikçi iş davranışı üzerindeki etkisinde bilgi paylaşımının kısmi aracı etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak güçlendirici liderlik davranışı örgütte çalışanlara yönelik olumlu davranışları etkilemektedir. Pozitif yönetim davranışı da çalışanlarda bilgi paylaşımı ve yenilikçi iş davranışı algılarının artmasını sağlamaktadır.

THE MEDIATING ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE EFFECT OF EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR: A RESEARCH IN THE INFORMATION SECTOR

Abstract

Empowering leadership is the behavioral states that are considered within the scope of the efficiency of the organization and regarding the positive aspects of the manager. The main purpose of this study is to determine whether “information sharing” functions as a mediator in the effect of empowering leadership, which is a positive leadership behavior, on innovative work behavior. In the study, "Does knowledge sharing play a role as a mediating variable in the effect of empowering leadership on innovative business behavior?" the question has been tried to be answered. The research has been designed according to the quantitative research method. Research data have been collected from an informatics firm (n = 412) in Ankara according to the simple random sampling technique. In the analysis of the data, descriptive analyzes were made with difference and relationship tests using SPSS and AMOS programs. According to the findings obtained in the analysis of the research data, positive effects have been found between empowering leadership behavior, information sharing and innovative work behaviors, and it has been determined that information sharing had a partial mediating effect on the effect of empowering leadership on innovative work behavior. As a result, empowering leadership behavior affects positive behaviors towards employees in the organization. Positive management behavior also increases the perception of information sharing and innovative work behavior among employees.
