Abstract
The aim of this paper is to develop policy recommendations for technological advancement inTurkey within the framework of their present situation technological policies and the process of integration with the European Community Technological advancement of countries and its the level of growth and development have vital advantages that can be realized by the development of consistent and new technolgy and support policies These policies should be directed toward elimination of the problems of the technolgy should be supporting their dynamic structure and should be in accordance with the requirements of the “new economy” Within this perspective İt is claimed that there are close relationships between the scientific and technological advancement of countries and its the level of growth and development The aim of this paper the deterministic effects of science and technology in national economy are examined and discussed within the general perspective above Keywords: Technology competitive technology policies science and technology

Abstract
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’deki teknolojinin mevcut durumu teknoloji politikaları ve Avrupa Birliği’ne uyum süreci çerçevesinde bu gelişmelere yönelik politika önerileri geliştirilmiştir Çeşitli açılardan önemli avantajları olan ekonominin yapılanmasında teknolojinin kendi yapılarından kaynaklanan problemlerin ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik dinamik yapıları destekleyici ve yeni ekonomik düzenin gereklerine uygun tutarlı ve ileri teknolojiyi destekleme politikalarının oluşturulmasının gereğini ortaya koymuştur Bu doğrultuda ülkelerin bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmişlik düzeyi ile ekonomik büyüme arasında ilişkilerin mevcudiyeti ülkelerin etkinliğinin sahip olunan bilim ve teknoloji temeline dayandığı savunulmaktadır Bu çalışmada genel çizgileri tanımlanan bu uzun soluklu değerlendirme de bilim ve teknolojinin ulusal kalkınmadaki belirleyici etkisi üzerine bazı incelemeler sunulmaktadır Anahtar Kelimeler: Teknoloji rekabet teknoloji politikaları bilim ve teknoloji
