Determination of Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera: Sternorrhyncha) fauna in and arraound Karaman province

Abstract

In this study, the species belongs to Aleyrodidae family collected form different host plants in and arround Karaman province during August and September 2018 were determined by using pupal morphological identification characters. Seven species belongs to Aleyrodinae namely, Aleyrodes proletella (Linnaeus), Bemisia afer (Priesner&Hosny), Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius), Siphoninus finitimus (Silvestri), Siphoninus phillyreae (Haliday), Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) ve Tetraleurodes neemani (Bink-Moenen) were determined. Whitefly fauna in and around Karaman province was reported for the first time by this study.

Karaman ili ve Çevresinde Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera: Sternorrhyncha) Faunasının Belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Karaman ili ve çevresinde 2018 yılı Ağustos ve Eylül aylarında, farklı konukçulardan toplanan Aleyrodidae familyasına ait türler, pupa kabuğuna ait morfolojik tanı karakterleri kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Tanı çalışmaları sonucunda, Aleyrodinae altfamilyasında yer alan Aleyrodes proletella (Linnaeus), Bemisia afer (Priesner&Hosny), Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius), Siphoninus finitimus (Silvestri), Siphoninus phillyreae (Haliday), Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) ve Tetraleurodes neemani (Bink-Moenen) olmak üzere 7 tür belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Karaman ili ve çevresinde bulunan beyazsinek faunası ilk kez ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
