Lise Öğretmenlerinin Ek İş Yapma Durumlarının Etik Bilinç ve Gelişime Açık Olma Değerlerine Etkisine İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, lise öğretmenlerinin ek iş yapma durumlarının etik bilinç ve gelişime açık olma değerlerine etkisine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerininincelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Örneklem türü olarak, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi seçilmiştir. Amaçlı örnekleme yönteminde, strateji olarak maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme ve kartopu örnekleme yöntemi olmak üzere birden fazla örnekleme stratejisi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu; İstanbul İlinin Kadıköy, Ümraniye ve Sultanbeyli ilçelerinin çeşitli liselerinde görev yapmakta olan 30 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme yönteminden yararlanılmış ve bu doğrultuda yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Ek iş yapmayan öğretmenlerin, mesleği ile ilgili ve meslek dışı ek iş yapan öğretmenlere göre etik bilincinin daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Mesleği ile ilgili ek iş yapan öğretmenlerin, ek iş yapmayan ve meslek dışı ek iş yapan öğretmenlere göre gelişime daha açık oldukları saptanmıştır

Teacher Opinions Concerning the Effect of a Secondary Job on the Values of Ethics Awareness and Openness to Development of High School Teachers
Abstract
In this study, the aim is to study teacher opinions concerning the effect of a secondary occupation of senior high school teachers on their values concerning ethics awareness and openness to development. From the qualitative research designs, phenomenology design is used in the study. As sampling type, purposeful sampling is selected. In the purposeful sampling method, more than one sampling strategy was used with maximum variation sampling and snowball sampling was used as strategy. The working group consists of 30 teachers who work in various secondary high schools of the administrative districts of Kadıköy, Ümraniye and Sultanbeyli of the province of Istanbul. The interview method was used as data collection tool and a semi-structured interview form was prepared in line with it. The ethics awareness of teachers who did not have a secondary job was found to be higher than teachers who performed secondary jobs in relation to their profession and those who had a job outside teaching. The teachers who had a secondary job in relation to their profession are found to be more open to development than those who did not have a secondary job and teachers who head a job outside their profession
