Abstract

In this paper dealing with the word meysir (gamble) in Quran, it has been tried to show What kind of game it is, What its dimension of the meaning in dictionaries and exegesises are, and What the framework of the verses related to it tells us, and in this contex the evaluation of some kinds of current gambling games has also been done.

Abstract

Kur’ân-ı Kerim’de geçen ve kumar anlamına gelen meysir kelimesinin ele alındığı bu makalede, meysirin nasıl bir oyun olduğu, lügat ve tefsirlerdeki anlam boyutu, ilgili ayetlerin düşündürdüğü çerçeve gösterilmeye çalışılmış ve günümüzdeki bazı kumar türlerinin bu bağlamda bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.
