A New View Of Solution To The Old Problem Of Commentary Science

Abstract

There is no doubt that one of the most complicated problems of the commentary science is İsrâiliyyah. In order to solve this problem many studies have been undetaken by the scientists and schools and they have suggested many solutions. Yet a clearcut result has not been agreed on. It is true to say that reaching a final result is really difficult. In this small study we propose some suggestions to ease this difficulty. In fact, in order to understand the messages given by the Qur’an it is not necessary to fill the gaps of the episodes in the Qur’an. However, if it is insisted that the above stated gaps of the episodes must be filled, these gaps must be filled not with İsrâiliyyah knowledge, but with the knowledge of archeological works. This suggestion seems to be more realistic in order to reach the truth.

Tefsir İlminin Kadîm Bir Problemine Yeni Bir Çözüm Önerisi

Öz

Tefsirin en karmaşık problemlerinden biri de şüphesiz ki isrâiliyyâttır. Proble-min halli için çeşitli açılardan bazı âlimler ve ekollerce bir takım çalışmalar yapılmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuş ancak, kesin bir çözüme varılamamıştır. Şunu açıkça itiraf etmek gerekir ki, bu konuda nihâî sonuca varmak hakikaten çok zordur. İşte bu küçük çaplı etüdümüzde, söz konusu zorluğu az da olsa hafifletmeye yönelik olarak âcizane şöyle bir öneride bulunmak istedik: Esasen, Kur’ân’ın vermek istediği mesajları anlamak için kıssalarındaki boşlukların doldurulma-sına ihtiyaç olmamalıdır. Buna rağmen söz konusu boşlukların doldurulmasın-da ısrar edilirse bu takdirde onların, isrâilî rivâyetlerle değil, arkeolojik eserler-deki bilgilerle doldurulması, doğruya yaklaşma açısından daha sağlıklı görün-mektedir.
