Will-Resolution and Absolute Reliance on God in the Qur’an

Abstract

The most ideal belief as explained in Qur'an is based on irade (will), azm (resolution) and tevekkül ( absolute reliance on God). Irade comes first. The second in importance is azm which means to be patient and serious in an action. And third tevekkül means to trust God after performing the first and the second step, namely irade and azm. It is only than that miracles take place. In other words, a miracle takes place only when one wills, takes action seriously and trust God in any work
