Abstract

In this article, the subject about illustration and statue, that have great importance for a pagan society was mentioned. As known, the prophet came out the time of paganists. When he was delegated as a prophet, he first got rid of the idols and tried to build the monoteist blief to the society. Moreover Mekke period was spent on this subject. At that time most of the verses were on setting the bases of faith. At those times they tried to keep away from idols and everykind of their effects causing interests to paganism. For this reason they build strict blocks on illustration and statue. But in Medine period the strict blocks were weakend because of the decreased interest in paganism. However muslims stayed away from illustration and statue, these believes have reached to our time too. In this article the hadiths on illustration and sculpture were examined and we tried to ıdentify that the illustrations and statues were useful and harmless to human kind weren’t forbidden in muslim religion, but just their terms of use were changed according to their usage.

Hadisler Işığında Hz. Peygamber’in Resim Ve Heylele Bakı-şı

Öz

Bu makalede, putperest bir toplum için önemli yere sahip olan resim ve heykel konusu işlenmiştir. Bilindiği üzere, Hz. Peygamber putperest bir toplumda orta-ya çıkmıştı. Peygamberlik ile görevlendirildiği zaman, ilk olarak putlardan kur-tulup tevhid inancını toplumda yerleştirmeye çalışmıştır. Hatta Mekke dönemi tamamen bu konuya ayrılmıştı denilebilir. O dönemde indirilen ayetlerin çoğun-luğu iman hakikatlerini yerleştirmeye yöneliktir. İşte bu dönemde puta ve put-çuluğa ilgi duyuracak her türlü etkenden uzak durulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu se-beple resim ve heykele yönelik ilk zamanlarda çok katı bir tutum takınılmıştır. Ancak Medine döneminde, insanlar putlardan uzaklaştığı için resim ve heykele karşı tutum biraz daha hafiflemiştir. Yinede Müslümanlar tedbir olarak uzak durmuş ve İslam kültüründe resim ve heykele karşı bir tutum günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Biz bu çalışmamızda resim ve heykel ile ilgili hadisleri inceledik ve insanlığın faydasına olan, kötülüğe sevk etmeyen resim ve heykellerin İslam dininde yasaklanmadığını, kullanılma amacına göre hükmünün değiştiğini or-taya koymaya çalıştık.
