An Article Written by Babanzada Ahmad Na‘im on Teaching of Arabic Language

Abstract

The article “A Few Words About the Necessity of Learning Arabic and Its Teaching Methods” written by Babanzada Ahmad Naim (1872-1934), deals with the relation between Islamic culture and Arabic language. He claims that Arabic language is an inheritance that belongs to Turkish people from the former Muslims and learning Arabic is necessary for the comprehension of Islam. Besides, the author suggests some teaching methods relating to Arabic language.
