Abstract
Universe is with a measure; the earth and the life on the earth is with a meas-ure.There is nothing at random; without measure, without rule. Perfection and health of the parts in that perfect system are interrelated. Whenever a corrup-tion/degeneration is commited by someone it affects others. Then it is neces-sary to take necessary measures. All the extreme actions, wastefully spending and using things at random which affect spiritual and material, personal and social/common life negatively and frustrate economic balances even more natu-rel balances were stated by the word “immoderation” (exceeding the proper bound) in the Qoranic language. “Immoderation”, as a subject and content, is a problem that have to be taken seriously and to be solved at the personal and social. Islam takes it seriously in general and in special and orders that it should be shunned. In general it considires all kinds of immoderation at the religious and worldly; spiritual and material levels. In its special meaning it means immoderations at financial areas. Islam orders that all immoderations in belief and in actions of worship and obedience and spiritual practices must be given up. It declares that eating, drinking, dressing and benefitting from all kinds of benefactions are lawful, but it’s necessary to give upall immoderations and Allah does not like immoderates.Islam which forbids all kinds of immodera-tion has found a special solution to it; it ordered “moderation” as a remedy for it. “Moderation” has also got some general meanings as well as narrow ones. In general it means to be temperate in all sorts of habits and actions; and in nar-row sense it means thriftiness in spending money etc. Qoran orders neither to be niggard as someone who “his hand was shackled to the neck” nor “to squander” to make the parent hungry and needy; but to be “just mean between those (two extremes)” and to be in the same way at spending on the others too. By applying the general meaning every thing will be kept on temperance in; material and spiritual life; physical, spiritual, material etc. abilities will be temperate. By the application of narrow meaning, necessities and enjoyments will be satisfied temperately and so, by using them usefully and in necessity, the material substances will be kept as an asset that everybody can use them. It is clear that the immoderation, extreme actions and wastefully spendings cause spiritual and material corraptions. The statistical informations about these subjects are neither pleasant for our country nor for rest of the world. To conclude, persons and communities have to endeavour to eliminate “immoderation” and make the “moderation” a life-style habit in its place. This is more useful for everybody and everything in the world.
