The Journal of East Asian Studies of Türkiye (JEAST) has been starting its publication life with its interdisciplinary perspectives (in the areas of culture, linguistics, political history, economics, sociology, philosophy, religion or belief systems, foreign affairs, security and ethnicity/minority situations, etc.) of China/Japan/Korea/Mongolia/Taiwan. It aims to make significant contribution to world of social sciences. The Journal welcomes the articles which should close the gap in the area of study, present new and original information, reevaluate the former studies or put alternative perspective on the current ones, introduce various pieces and personalities.The Journal of East Asian Studies of Turkey (JEAST) is an international peer reviewed journal will be published biannually (spring and fall) in the languages of Turkish, English and Chinese and has no connection with any political, ideological and religious groups or organizations.

The Journal of East Asian Studies of Turkey (JEAST) has been starting its publication life with its interdisciplinary perspectives (in the areas of culture, linguistics, political history, economics, sociology, philosophy, religion or belief systems, foreign affairs, security and ethnicity/minority situations, etc.) of China/Japan/Korea/Mongolia/Taiwan. It aims to make significant contribution to world of social sciences.

Articles must not be published or in the review process in another journal in order to be published in JEAST. Papers presented in scientific congress will be accepted only if its place and objective stated. It should be mentioned in the paper if there is a support (financial or other) by any organization/institution.

In the submission process the manuscript is sent to two reviewers according to the experts in respective field to review the paper in the light of journal's guidelines and features of a quality research paper. The review reports are collected from the reviewers and the executive editor will send the review reports to the authors including all terms and conditions of the publication. Names of the reviewers have kept secret and reports they have written have archived for five years. The editorial board may consider the paper for further modifications.

The scientific and legal liability of the articles belong to the author(s).
