İşten Ayrılma Niyeti İle İlişkili Faktörler: Bilgi Teknolojisi Çalışanları Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bilgi
teknolojilerinin işletmelerdeki rolünün her geçen gün artmasının bir sonucu
olarak, bu alanda çalışan nitelikli personeli bulmak ve firmada tutmak
işletmeler için çok önemli bir hale gelmiştir. Bilgi teknolojisi çalışanlarının
işten ayrılmasının firmalara büyük maliyetleri olmaktadır. Dolayısıyla, bilgi
teknolojisi çalışanlarının işten ayrılma niyetlerine etki eden faktörlerin
tespit edilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin farklı
şehirlerinde görev yapan 153 bilgi teknolojisi çalışanından toplanan verilere
dayanarak, işten ayrılma niyeti ile ilişkili olabilecek faktörler
araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda örgütsel bağlılık değişkeninin işten
ayrılma niyetini olumsuz yönde etkilediği bulunmuştur. Ayrıca iş
alternatiflerinin artması, işten ayrılma niyetini artırmaktadır. Diğer yandan,
işte özerklik ve ücret memnuniyeti değişkenlerinin, işten ayrılma niyetine
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkilerinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
