Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationships between positive psychological capital (PsyCap), Allah centeredness (AC), and life satisfaction (LS). It is also aims to describe the relationships between PsyCap, AC, LS, and demographic variables (gender, age, marital status, and teaching field). As a quantitative study, relational method was utilized for the research. The sample of the study consisted of 177 teachers who are currently working in schools in Istanbul. The research data were collected by a questionnaire which included the Psychological Capital Scale Short Form, Scale of Allah Centeredness, and Life Satisfaction Scale. Non-parametric tests were used because the data were not normally distributed. The results point out positive significant correlations between PsyCap, AC, and LS. Also, compared to singles, married participants scored significantly higher in terms of PsyCap, AC, and LS. Male teachers scored significantly higher than female teachers in terms of PsyCap. Some significant differences in terms of the variables of age and other teaching fields were found. In the suggestions section, arrangements that can be made to improve teachers' working and psychological conditions are emphasized.
