NESNELERİN İNTERNETİNİN PAZARLAMA FAALİYETLERİNE KATKISI: LOJİSTİK BİLGİ TEKNOLOJİLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Internet ve elektronik ticaret
platformları, günümüze kadar çok önemli gelişmeler kat etmiştir. İnternet
devrimi, bilgisayarların gelişimi ve akıllı mobil cihazların ortaya çıkışı ile
taçlandırılmıştır. Bilgiyi alan, depolayan ve işlemeyi kolaylaştıran bu
gelişim, nesnelerin interneti ismiyle bilinen iletişim ağının oluşmasına neden
olmuştur. Bu iletişim ağı insandan insana, insandan makineye ve makineden
makineye olacak şekilde tüm fiziksel nesneleri, insanları ve daha büyük bilgi
işlem sistemlerini birbirine bağlamaktadır. Lojistik bilgi teknolojileri hizmet
sağlayıcıları, lojistik işletmelerine ve müşterilerine nesnelerin interneti
kapsamında çok önemli pazarlama fırsatları sunmaktadırlar. Bu fırsatlar;
operasyonel etkinlik, emniyet ve güvenliğin sağlanması yansıra yük sahiplerine
katma değerli hizmetlerin yaratılması ve müşteri deneyimleri hakkında bilgi
sahibi olunması, yeni iş modellerinin yaratılması olarak sıralanmaktadır.
