Ibn Fûrak, a second-generation student of Ash'arî, examined some mistaken views which had been attributed to Ash’arî as a separate title in the last chapter of his work named Mujarrad Makalat al-Sheikh Abu al-Hasan al-Ash'ari, which he collected from thirty books of his teacher. In this chapter, while Ibn Fûrak explains in what aspects misconceptions attributed to Imam Ash'arî by Mutarrif al-Dabbî are mistaken, he also explains the correct views of Ash’ari on the subject. These views are mostly related with the detailed matters of Kalam which are not included in the works of Ash’ari have reached today. Therefore, it is possible to be learned most matters of Kalam which are not included in Ash’ari Works through Ibn Fûrak trying to correct these mistaken views. In this article, these faulty views which Dabbi attributed to Ash'ari and Ibn Fûrak’s views on these matters are addressed.
