Abstract
Bu çalışma, iki kısımdan oluşmaktadır: İlk kısımda, Türkiye’deki İlahiyat Fakültelerinde yer alan
İslam Felsefesi disiplinini, bu alandaki çalışmalar ve disiplin çerçevesinde üretilen çalışmalarda ortaya
çıkan “İslam felsefesi” algısı hakkında genel bir değerlendirme sunulmaktadır. İkinci kısımda
ise İslam Felsefesi alanında yapılan akademik çalışmaları olumlu veya olumsuz yönde etkileyen
temel faktörler kısaca ele alınmaktadır. Bu çalışma ayrıca her iki hususta teorik problemlerin izalesine
yönelik önerilerde bulunmakta ve alan çalışmalarının nitelik olarak geliştirilmesi için neler
yapılabileceğine dair bazı somut tekliflerde bulunmaktadır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is twofold: on the first hand, it offers an evaluation on the discipline of Islamic Philosophy, which is part of the curriculum of the faculties of divinity, studies conducted in the field, and the perception of “Islamic Philosophy” among the scholars which appear in these studies. And on the second, this study briefly tackles certain issues that affect academic researches in one way or another. Also found in this evaluation are suggestions made towards untangling certain theoretical problems concerning the conception of the discipline and some concrete proposals as to what to do for the improvement in the quality of studies in the field
