In Islamic legal thought ıjttihad (juristic reasoning) has a significant role. It’s the most important function is to provide dynamism for the law thought. At the first periods ıjtihad method puted into practise successfully by the Islamic jurists. But afterwards emerged a thought that the “gate of ıjtihad” is closed.
